The website does not do this place justice, this is proper luxury. The staff are incredible, the hotel is fantastic and very very good value. I genuinely can only say great things and I can be a bit of a moaner. Defo book this place if you are going to Nimes

The hotel itself is lovely, nice design and very beautiful building. We booked the last available room which is the apartment. I’d describe it as a 3* room in a 4* hotel. The square footage is huge but there is paint damage everywhere, bathroom and toilet are very dated, air conditioning was old and struggling to cool such a large space at the top of the building. It comes with a basic kitchen but no cutlery, utensils or cooking goods. The gym is very basic with one broken crosstrainer and a few freeweights. The pool area is pleasant but small and gets quite a bit of shade. The only proactive member of staff we encountered came to check on us towards the end of the day and offered us drinks which was nice. It’s not overly expensive but I don’t think I’d stay here again

Hotel is in the Historic Center of Nîmes within 5 min. walk to the 2000 year old Roman Amphitheater and Roman Home as well as 10 minutes from the beautiful Jardin. We were upgraded to the Georges Suite with a living room, kitchen, and bedroom with sitting area which were beautifully appointed with crystal chandeliers and furniture. Also had a private courtyard overlooking the pool and garden. Can't recommend more highly.

Beautiful hotel with helpful staff in a perfect location for touring the Roman antiquities and museum. But I would not recommend the 'Michelin star' restaurant, Rouge--one of the worst tasting menus I have ever had and I I've in NYC and frequent these types of restaurants often.

Nice old hotel. However we were not aware that the hotel is in the no cars allowed part of the old city. Parking is about 1/2 a km away. Pack light. Also rooms lack modern connections for charging phones. We had to unplug lamps to charge phones. Staff was very nice and helped haul our suitcases up three floors, as there is no elevator

Non e’un hotel a cinque stelle, dalle foto risultava una camera che poi non ho avuto, la vasca non funzionava bene, non usciva praticamente l’acqua, la colazione e’piuttosto scarna e bisogna ordinare tutto, ho dimenticato degli orecchini in camera e sono spariti, il personale non e’stato per niente di aiuto, di sicuro in un hotel a cinque stelle me li avrebbero restituiti.

Hôtel dans un superbe bâtiment bien mis en valeur, au cœur de Nîmes entre la maison carrée et les arènes. Un havre de paix avec un service parfait. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Petit bémol sur une climatisation devenue envahissante et donc un peu trop bruyante. Mais c'est un point positif pour d'autres clients.

Nous avons passez un très bon moment dans cette hôtel dans la suite familiale numéro 9 cependant des petits problèmes de propreté laisse à désiré dans la salle de bain ( calcaire sur les mousseurs qui gicle partout , tache noir sur les joints de la douche , douchette qui fuit à la baignoire ) rien de dramatique mais pour un 5 étoiles nous somme un peu perplexe , la clim dans la chambre principale est très mal penser car la nuit il faut fermer les rideau occultant car pas de volet mais du coup ceux ci cache et enferme la clim se qui oblige à faire tout un ta de pliage de ceux ci pour laisser la clim passer . Malgré c’est petit problème l’expérience vu quand même très bonne dans cette hôtel avec un personnel au top et au petit oignons .

Meine Frau und ich wurden am Morgen zum Frühstück äusserst zuvorkommend bedient, danke. Auch konnten wir problemlos eine Stunde später auschecken. Sympathisches Hotel, Zimmer charmant sehr sauber, Bett angenehm. Achtung: Man kann nicht mit dem Fahrzeug vorfahren, da es in der gesperrten Fussgängerzone liegt. Parkieren z.B. im Parkhaus "Maison Carrée". Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Une jolie pause nîmoise

L’hôtel est très bien situé, au cœur de Nîmes. Un monument classé, aménagé avec goût. Le cadre aspire à la quiétude et aux plaisirs des sens. Le personnel est très à l’écoute et disponible. Un remerciement particulier au directeur qui a su être attentif à nos retours. Idéal pour une pause nimoise. Nous reviendrons sûrement et notamment pour tester la table étoilée.
