Rooms were spacious and the soaking tub was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was great….right on the water. The seals were actively barking, but did not disturb us at all. I would definitely stay there again if we are back in the area.

Highly recommend this hotel for its location to walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants. The fire pit and saunas located on the dock were nice to use. The sea lions sunbathing 24/7 under the docks with an above dock viewing area also brings in several passerby tourists which is comical at times. The decor, atmosphere and staff were outstanding. The earplugs on each side of the bed were a "nice touch" since the seal lions do plenty of chattering throughout the night/day. Although pricey rooms, spend the extra bucks and book the river view with your semi-private deck - very scenic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bowline! It is in a great location and walking distance from great amenities. There is a large group of sea lions settled on the pier near the hotel. They can honk loudly, but fortunately the hotel provides sound machines and ear plugs. Did not hear them. Our stay was too short to enjoy the Finnish saunas !

Loved this place and it’s decor. Rooms were clean and spacious and we enjoyed the river view. The only disappointing thing is that in order eo enjoy the fireplace was to bump the heat up and when it reached temp, it went off. I felt sort of mislead about that when I purchased the upgrade for it. I would return, but just not pay for something I really couldn't enjoy.

This property is the place to stay in Astoria! We stayed in the Ice House Suite and it was perfection. The staff is so friendly and helpful as well. We will return and stay in the suite again. Just a beautiful property on the Columbia, view of Astoria Bridge and a platform on site for the sea lions to rest if you enjoy sea life. The views were breathtaking!

Great and friendly staff. I used the room service and it was quick and well presented. Amenities are great as well as the toiletries and room coffee and tea. The room itself was sparkling clean and so cozy. It felt like staying on a boat, with panoramic windows of the river. The surrounding area is walkable, but close to a homeless camp.

We loved our stay at Bowline. We parked the car and didn't have to use it the entire trip because we could walk to everything we wanted to see. We loved seeing the trolley and the sea lions on a daily basis. The saunas on the river are wonderful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was so friendly. Getting a nightcap with that view at the beautiful bar was perfect. We loved everything!
