Location is amazing, and history of building amazing, fits in with the associated history of Rome. Personal service, friendly staff, and happy to help when asked. The down side is that the property shows signs of its age, with some dated decour, dated bathrooms, and old fashioned furniture etc. However this was also part of the charm, and gazing across the Trevi fountain from 3 stories up is an amazing priveledge! A great stay for a couple looking for local rustic local small hotel in a fantastic spot.

Amazing view - Take Advantage!
I came here with my sister for a long weekend and was not disappointed by our room's view. We had a twin room with all the necessities and a bath as well as a shower. There wasn't any tea/coffee/water in the rooms (as stated in description) but there are plenty of cafes/shops very close by to grab anything you need. The room was lovely & cleaned regularly, although some small details were a little past it's time. E.g one of the plug sockets came out of the wall when fitting an adaptor - but still worked fine. They had a good range of food for breakfast along with pleasant staff. The receptionists were very kind & helpful upon arrival, departure & generally throughout, with no language barrier from all staff. A couple of things I would say is, if you get a view room, be prepared for the noise into early hours of the morning & starting up around 7-8am again. We had lots of proposals so at times the cheering would wake us up, as well as the continuous sound of the fountain. Lastly, Rome in general doesn't have many information spots - so make sure you research before coming. Lovely, lovely hotel, lovely staff (especially Fabbio - I think that was his name) take advantage of the view & location of this hotel! Thank you all!

Filthy Hotel
The view of the Trevi Fountain is amazing. That’s all you get though. The rooms are small, dirty, very tired and shabby. The entire hotel needs a deep clean and makeover. Breakfast was ordinary. No kettle in rooms. WiFi was shocking!!! You have to do the entire log in process every 5 minutes. Quite noisy too due to the hordes of tourists outside.

Good 6.0
We had what I think is one of the better rooms in the hotel. On the top floor overlooking the fountain. With the window open all night, the sound of running water was lovely and the noise of the crowds was all but completely drowned out by it (with the assistance of the roofline, which was just below our window.) On the lower floors however, the noise would be much worse as there is no acoustic barrier. Our room shared a wall that was actually just a thin door with the other ‘Fountain View’ room. We could hear EVERYTHING and see light underneath the locked door. Every little conversation had in the next room we could hear. Especially at 2am when a very noisy couple checked in and Skyped home for an hour and a half. Honestly, the views of the fountain are incredible, but the novelty wears off after about an hour. There are other much better value and better conditioned rooms available in Rome. The crowds are also insane when entering or leaving the hotel, very hard with luggage and I imagine even harder with kids. For €15pp you can pop by and have a drink on the terrace overlooking the fountain (which includes a glass of wine or beer). This is a much better option than paying for a premium hotel room, which is not what is delivered.

Exceptional 10.0
This is my third stay and the staff are always really helpful. The views of the Trevi Fountain are fantastic. The rooms are old and quirky with no tea or coffee making facilities but this has not been an issue had coffee at the local cafe bar and had water in the room. Location is everything and again the staff are wonderful. Will definitely be back
