Truly a resort that you never have to leave. Has lots of dining and shopping options. Nice variety of pools. Very well maintained. The resort is BIG. 60 plus acres with 3 different rooming "towers". Dolphin Quest is especially interesting.

The brackish lagoon has amazing snorkeling and an awesome waterfall. We saw turtles, a ray, eels, and all the other various reef fish. The main pool is huge. We also enjoyed the food from the lagoon in grill. Nui Italian has great thin crust pizza and salads. Every morning I walked over to Waikoloa Coffee Company and got coffees and tasty breakfast items such as açaí bowls, guava danish, bean and cheese burrito and bagels with cream cheese.

We had an amazing stay! The property is huge with so much to do and plenty of good food available. There are also 2 nice shopping centers nearby which my teenage girls loved! The beach at the hotel is rocky but there is a beautiful sandy beach nextdoor uke a 5 min drive or the lagoon at the resort has sand and yes there really are sea turtles and ocean life in the lagoon! We stayed in Makai and it did seem a bit nicer and the way to go to be close to the main amenities. Can't wait to go back!!!

Absolutely beautiful resort! Its location on the island is arguably one of the best with it's gorgeous sunset views. I also loved the convenience of having a beautiful lagoon with all it's tropical fish and sea turtles on site for snorkeling. Plenty of activities to keep you busy or comfy, peaceful places perfect for lounging. This is easily one of my favorite resorts and I can't wait to go back.

This is a gorgeous resort. The lagoon was truly amazing. We snorkeled a lot and saw a lot of turtles and fish. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the room we booked was very expensive and I would have expected to have it serviced every day. However, the room was cleaned only every other day.
