Hi the staff is nice here we just had an issue with the room we paid for partial ocean view was more expensive but it was on a golf course and that wasn’t written in the description and it’s very strange when we checked in and almost too much to see people on golf course instead of privacy. So they were nice to relocate us but it wasn’t an upgrade we are in a garden room so it was actually a downgrade and we would like some compensation for the extra money paid for the room please

Beautiful resort with good amenities and food
Beautiful resort to end a 10 day trip to the Big Island with more rustic and adventurous stays prior. We and our friends family both got upgraded to huge ocean front suite and it is very luxurious. Grounds are beautiful as is shallow beach cove right by the pool for kids. Snorkeling off the beach is quite good for how easy it is. Beach and pool shacks provide free water and sunscreen. Food at both the casual poolside restaurant and high end Browns are both really good and pricing not too much more than in Kona town given an upscale resort and captured audience. Overall very nice stay to relax at the end of a trip.
