Like other reviewers have said, not really a conventional hotel. First of all, somehow (dispite the property sending me an email to remind me of my reservation nearly every day in the week leading up to it) the hotel lost our reservation and had no room for us. Luckily (?) they had one room not in use due to a broken key card, so they gave us that one. This meant someone had to walk us to our room each time we needed to get in, which was a minor inconvenience, but inconvenient nonetheless. We had no offers of compensation for this at all, and paid full price for our stay.
Pros: comfortable beds, great air conditioning (other reviews had mentioned this was a problem but we were quite happy!), amazing location - steps to all kinds of patios/food/drink and the metro station, spacious rooms, very friendly front desk staff, the room had a speaker for my phone, it was fairly quiet (again, other reviews mentioned the noise but it wasn’t an issue)
Cons: most of the lights in the room didn’t work, there were zero toiletries (not even a hand soap), the hair dryer didn’t work, and I couldn’t reach someone at the front desk using the room phone once.
Not sure how many of my issues were due to the off-service room, as I couldn’t get a hold of someone to ask. Overall it was fine, and I would easily give it a higher rating if I didn’t pay an arm and a leg for the stay. Plus, I booked through this site, so not sure how much of the reservation issue was the hotels fault.
