Great hotel for couples, only 1 bed available in the room but huge rooms, parking in garage for 25$ Great location

Lovely room. Really unique place. Very comfortable with everything you need. Very close to nice restaurants. Lovely area

The rooms--I booked 2 rooms; one for my wife and me, the other for our daughter and son-in-law--were HUGE, clean, and hypoallergenic. The location--on Saint-Denis--is right at the center of the Latin Quarter. Just walking through the neighborhood was a joy, and we were able to walk to areas of interest, from Chinatown to the Old City, within 20 minutes.

Hotel was generally nice and close to many restaurants. After an overnight rain, found dripping water and puddles in the hallway, and we weren't on the top floor. Website showed what looked like a breakfast buffet, but this was not the case.

The building and rooms were nice but the room furniture has seen better days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is outstanding. It was satisfactory but I would not return at these rates. Incredibly expensive, even considering Grand Prix weekend premium, and therefore worn furniture, loose and wobbly toilets and minimal towels were an annoyance.

Good place, please fix your fire alarm

Very nice place ! A pleasant surprise :) Just too bad that the alarm woke up us at 3am ... ang again at 9am ... for nothing .... (and it last for 20mn each time)

This hotel has a great location. And great art in the lobby. Excellent if waiting for check-in time. I gave low rating because they did not fix our door knob nor provided us with a key to access our room. We had to ask the front desk to open our door each time. This did not make us feel safe throughout our stay.

Huge disappointment. Pictures are misleading

Worst experience. Stay away from this location. Got stuck in the freight elevator. Garage had sitting water and looked like a sewer. Did not feel safe at this establishment and did not stay Still waiting for a refund. It’s been 3 months… No response from owners.

Property is not being maintained. On check in the toilet in our room was clogged. They gave me a plunger so I spent 30 minutes plunging a toilet I didn’t clog. Burned out light bulbs in our room and furniture that has seen better days.
Russell, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Property was spacious and met all of our needs. You can not expect perfection though and as some of the other reviews mention it’s cheaply put together. We had water coming out of the door from the shower where it didn’t seal properly. You could see things duct taped and glued. Housekeeping is excellent though and do a great job cleaning the rooms. Also the heat was Sahara desert at all times and the tv wasn’t working properly. If you want space this is the place, if you want perfection it is not.

Not a hotel, don't expect one.

While sizable and relatively comfortable for its category, this property is definitely not a hotel. It essentially provides minimally-equipped, loft-style apartments managed on site. There is not daily cleaning or replenishing of sheets/towels/toiletries. The amenities provided were outdated and potentially dangerous: a broken ironing board, outdated and leaky iron, and hair dryer with coils exposed due to broken outer plastic. The room itself was large, and the bed was comfortable, but I wouldn't stay there again, even if I'd known beforehand what I was getting into. I also encourage hotels.com to advertise the property as what it actually is.
Zach, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

There was NO Air conditioning in the room! We have reported it to the receptionist right away and she said she could not do anything but asked us to file a complain to Expedia! Expedia failed to obtain a refund from the property and said due to policy, they can't do anything. The staff's attitude are rude and irresponsible and they don't seem like a full time staff but only work there occasionally. Experience of staying in this hotel is awful.
Ka Ki, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We should have trusted the negative reviews. We booked a room with two beds via Expedia and were placed in a room with one bed. The front desk then told us there was only one other room available with two beds, which we moved to. The heater in that room was on full blast and the hotel could not turn it off or control it, so we spent both nights sweating on top of the sheets. Even though we told the hotel there was no hand or body soap we never received any- just shampoo and conditioner for the entire stay. When we got back to the room the second night our keys didn't work, the room hadn't been cleaned, and there were no clean towels. Over the phone, the manager told us we would be credited back some portion of the cost for the inconvenience but over a week later we have not been able to get in contact with the manager or received any refund. When checking out, there was another guest pressing the front desk to give him money that he was promised due to issues during his stay. Do not stay at this hotel.

Expensive for the quality but amazing location

Like other reviewers have said, not really a conventional hotel. First of all, somehow (dispite the property sending me an email to remind me of my reservation nearly every day in the week leading up to it) the hotel lost our reservation and had no room for us. Luckily (?) they had one room not in use due to a broken key card, so they gave us that one. This meant someone had to walk us to our room each time we needed to get in, which was a minor inconvenience, but inconvenient nonetheless. We had no offers of compensation for this at all, and paid full price for our stay. Pros: comfortable beds, great air conditioning (other reviews had mentioned this was a problem but we were quite happy!), amazing location - steps to all kinds of patios/food/drink and the metro station, spacious rooms, very friendly front desk staff, the room had a speaker for my phone, it was fairly quiet (again, other reviews mentioned the noise but it wasn’t an issue) Cons: most of the lights in the room didn’t work, there were zero toiletries (not even a hand soap), the hair dryer didn’t work, and I couldn’t reach someone at the front desk using the room phone once. Not sure how many of my issues were due to the off-service room, as I couldn’t get a hold of someone to ask. Overall it was fine, and I would easily give it a higher rating if I didn’t pay an arm and a leg for the stay. Plus, I booked through this site, so not sure how much of the reservation issue was the hotels fault.

No functioning TV, despite request made to fix it; no cleaning services on the week-end; couple of big insects in the room; no coffee in the room; no food; no drinking water; lots to be improved. Great location though; and the room was very nice.
Fadi, 2-night trip

The hotel offers parking at an extra rate ( that is fine) but to find the said parking is hell. The receptionist was not much of help and did offer "a way to go there" map, and has no idea of which street is a one way around the hotel. A coffee machine would have been nice in the room, but none. The towels could use some softener at the washing stage as I found to be a bit "rough"

2/10 Poor

This hotel was so terrible we literally booked another one just to get out of the Loft. There was a urine stain on the duvet, room was filthy, no cleaners most days and the staff were unable and/or unwilling to assist. We have enjoyed every other property we have booked on Expedia over the last 10-15 years and would recommend severing ties with this establishment. We were so disgusted that we paid for two hotels and feel we should be reimbursed for the entire stay as this was on the same level as a shelter. Ruined a much needed vacation.
Josh, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

We stayed at the Loft Hotel during the GP weekend. My review is based on the room priced extremely high. The hotel is in a great location, has a parking garage ($25 extra per day), and the design in the lobby is certainly interesting. The personnel are friendly, but seemingly work alone. Communication with the hotel happened mostly by text, and it was sporadic at with replies. Our room in the 6th floor was large, but extremely sparsely furnished. Most of the space was empty and you needed binoculars to see the TV from the sofa. Our room had “city views”, which means a street and the building on the other side. It rained a bit the first night and there was some water leaking in near the entrance. It continued raining throughout the next day, and now water was leaking into every area of the room, including the bedroom. We put pots and pans from the kitchen under every leak. Water was leaking into the corridor as well, both to bucket placed there and several places around it. We asked for another room, which we got from the lobby floor. This didn’t leak, but had evidence of prior water damage on the wood floor, and moldy seams between the bathroom tiles. The mattress was lumpy too, but wasn’t sagging like the prior one. I read a lot of earlier reviews after our stay and there are reports of leaks from earlier. They knew our room would have leaks and about rain being forecast and gave us the room anyway. This hotel is a scam. Avoid at any cost.
