Hotel Nelligan, Montreal
In spite of snow and cold my daughter and I had a great time in Montreal. This was largely due to the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The location in Old Montreal is wonderful and provides ease of accces to the Basilica, the underground, China Town, fun boutiques, and terrific restaurants. The two restaurants affiliated with the hotel had wonderful food as well. You can't beat Tuesdays $1 oyster special!

Very Good8.0
Excellent hotel. Location is terrific - central to many great sections of the City. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Only issue was that the City came to pick up trash in the alley behind my room at 7 am on both Saturday and Sunday (yes, surprised by this too....) and this woke me from a good sleep.

White Glove Hotel with Excellent Hospitality
This is the second timeI’ve stayed at the Nelligan, and it’s the most amazing hotel. Service is incredible, and the hotel is impeccable. I came on a solo trip to relax, and I almost had to force myself to go outside because the hotel is so comfortable. It’s in a great location - Old Montreal, and easily accesible by public transportation and walking. Great little shops, restos and cafes nearby, and Versus (resto downstairs) is incredible. One other thing that is a small gesture but makes you feel that much more special is the turndown service - chocolates, bottle of water and a weather card.
