Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Red Lion Inn. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The location was convenient to many nice shops and restaurants, as well as sites like the Norman Rockwell museum and the Divine Mercies chapel and grounds. This hotel is a wonderful blend of historic and modern..and the breakfast is great!

Our room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is a bit dated and could use updating. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay

The Red Lion Inn is charming and historic. Staff were great. Room was fine, though some of the furnishings weren't functional (bureau, kitchen chair). The property was just what I expected, and I enjoyed my stay.

Ideal location if one is looking to stay in Stockbridge. The guest house we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. But our room was looking a little worn and in need of some updates, such as the carpet. The property has an excellent restaurant. The property was undergoing a renovation during our stay, so the parking situation was at first confusing, but we got the hang of it quickly,

Dinner in the main dining room was amazing! Food delicious and staff attentive. We stayed in the Stephen’s House and arrived in the dark. It was not well lighted and 184 was up a huge flight of stairs. We had to haul up too many bags! We would have done a sm. 1 night bag If we had known this was a second floor. Beds were very uncomfortable soft and towels with stains. The kitchen area was without a refrigerator turned on and no ice. The front desk attendant was very efficient and ran some ice over! We love Red Lion Inn and found some things a bit off this time.

Every year my sisters and I go to the Red Lion to celebrate our mom’s birthday. It was one of her favorite places! We love the charm, the history and the “old fashioned” feel. Every guest room is different and they kindly upgraded me to a suite the last two times. The food at the restaurant is really good and we always love hearing the Jazz in the Lion’s Den on Sunday night. Can’t wait to return next year.

The Red Lion Inn has so much history and character, it was a wonderful Experience to say the least. With modern amenities, it still Managed to keep its old world charm Food at the Wolf Den Tavern offered some of the best clam chowder I have ever had Enjoyed the hot tub but both hot tub and pool were difficult getting in and out of for someone with mobility issues like me Breakfast in the main dining room was also wonderful with very pleasant staff Upon check in, the only employee at the registration desk was on the phone with a customer for a good 15-20 minutes while the line behind me were all waiting to check in. Since check in time is 4:00, and we were there at 4:30 it seems like there should be more than one employee checking in customers Overall a wonderful stay. One that I would happily do again

What a beautiful, unique building. Full of antiques and feels like going back in time. The ride up to my fourth floor room in the 19th century cage elevator was a wonderful touch. Can’t wait to go back again.

Very nice experience at this historic hotel. Very clean rooms. My one complaint is that we had a room with a fireplace (which was more expensive than a comparable room without a fireplace) but it was just plastic logs with lights. Quite a disappointment when expecting a propane fireplace.

Love the warmth and lobby’s wood-burning fireplace. Some of the amenities could be updated (EV chargers were broken, the fitness center was messy and missing weights) but there are few inns this charming in New England, and at this price level.

6/10 Good

It’s a terrible feeling when unable to find parking in a hotel you’re booked especially when street parking allows only two hours. In addition, with no prior restaurant reservation for dinner is over an hour wait to be seated even down at their basement restaurant. Very expensive restaurant. Food not great. Hotel is old, really needs update. Staff in reception amazingly good!

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff was great. The hotel is a little bit quaint which I enjoy and why I go there. The only issue was the shower took a while for the water to heat up.

We had a very nice experience staying at the Red Lion Inn. Our room was upgraded when checking in which was a nice surprise. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the season. We loved the cozy feel of the fireplace in the lobby especially on such a cold day.
