So glad we stayed here! Our room was decorated like a 1940s Norman Rockwell painting, but had every modern comfort. We were in Stevens House, a half-block from the main inn - the shared living areas were like a home and our en-suite room was super nice. We had one dinner in the inn that was fancy, but we usually ate at other good restaurants & the patisserie within 1 block. Many fun shops, and a good laundromat also within 1 block.

We had a nice stay at the Red Lion Inn. Our room was clean and had a fireplace, but did not have a mini-refrigerator and the TV was placed to the side of the bed. The restaurant charged a lot ($65 for a filet mignon entree) and the food was not up to that price. The bread and salad were a la carte. The whole place seemed in need of a refresh.

We liked our stay very much but even after 6 complaints, there was no wi-fi at Stephen's House. None. I could tell they tried to fix it and it was not a big deal for us to use our own "hot-spots" but when we mentioned to housekeeping about the problem wi-fi, they said it was a regular problem. During the mornings or evenings when we needed our computers to plan our next day, we just went to the Red Lion Inn lobby. All good except for that. Heated pool and jacuzzi, delightful!!!

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Red Lion Inn. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The location was convenient to many nice shops and restaurants, as well as sites like the Norman Rockwell museum and the Divine Mercies chapel and grounds. This hotel is a wonderful blend of historic and modern..and the breakfast is great!

I love the Red Lion Inn because of its Old World charm. My husband thinks it could use some new rugs and fix cracked ceiling, but that does not bother me in the least. I just enjoy the place, including the dining room. Our room was very large and comfortable and very clean---no complaints at all. We have been there in the past and will be there again.

This is an old inn. It’s elegant, fun and very comfortable. Lots of dark, antique furniture and communal card games. The staff is friendly and some have been there many years. Many of the guests return year after year. If that’s what you’re looking for, you will love it. I do. If you are looking for sleek and spotless, you are best suited elsewhere.

Staff was very helpful particularly Jerry in outside cafe. Grounds keeper did a beautiful job! Outdoor pool was amazing! Will be back to swim in in the winter. Loved the shops located in the main building. We stayed in Maple Glen which was lovely. I was disappointed my room was dark but now know to ask for a sunnier room when booking.

The inn is historic with a grand feel. The room was large and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Nice hot shower. Clean room. Food and service were great. The amenities on the main property were nice. Be warned, the campus is large and some of the lodging is across a deathly intersection and down a hill a quarter mile away. Not what we were expecting when we booked an 80 yo b-day trip with a 78 yo as well. We picked Red lion due to the walk ability in town and dining. They moved our group the following day so that the two elders were in the main hotel. With the couple a sibling in the building next door. They did upgrade us to suites which was nice, but they put the elders had a totally inaccessible claw foot tub with no way to enter, exit or put any shower stuff, downgraded the king to a full and upgraded the queen to a king. Thankfully we were family and swapped rooms. We still need to figure out the expense between us bc one prepaid and then got a $600 charge. Not sure I can recommend with all the changes. The furniture is very dated, the mattresses were great.

But our room was looking a little worn and in need of some updates, such as the carpet. The property has an excellent restaurant. Had requested an early check in ahead of time and were obliged. Also, because our room was in the main Inn Building and I had read there were no refrigerators in those rooms, but one could be requested, we also did so, ahead of arrival, and were onliged. The queen beds in out room were comfortable and we had a large bathroom with a walk in shower.
