We had a gorgeous view of river and mountains, which we paid for. The room was clean but looks tired and needs freshening up.
The staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Outstanding stay at this property. Close to the town center just 10m walk. We had booked 6 nights stay and during check in upgraded our room to lake view with 60$/night which was worth as it gave us stunning view of lake and mountains and we had 2nd floor room which was connected to the lawn garden.. staff is friendly and helpful. Overall excellent stay

Paid extra for a lake view balcony room and the views were good. I paid at the property but was charged in GBP which ended up with a charge of £40 higher than the NZ$ rate. The room was uncomfortably hot at night with no air conditioning, just a floor standing fan. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bit dated. Staff helpful.

No aircon, we had 3 pple in room & each day had to ring for a 3rd towel they kept leaving 2 only. Beware you have to park on road which can be very hard finding a park or $15 a night for their carpark but we were then told we couldn’t as we had a van & it was too high. Very noisy pple at night & early morning with room doors banging, sounds like its your bedroom door. Slamming. Note it is walkable to town but note it is quite a steep hill. Very comfy beds though
