We stayed here for the location and price. Is in close proximity to Olde Mistick Village, Aquarium and Seaport Museum. On a nice day you can bike or walk 2.5 miles to downtown area. We will stay here again mainly due to cost and location.

The smell as soon as you walk in was awful. The corners of the hallways had hair and muck. As we walked to our room we first checked out the indoor pool- the water looked “thick”. We did not use. The room appeared to look clean but when you really started looking- especially in the bathroom, you could see the place had not thoroughly been cleaned in a very long time. It was actually really gross to see and I chose to only shower once during our 3 day stay. Will not ever stay again. The one positive note I will say- is that the woman who greeted me when checking in was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable of the area. She was really the only saving grace of the trip.

Although the property is under renovation, there was no noise when we were in our room. Clean room! Comfy beds! Kids had the pool to themselves that was great. We were there Tuesday-Sat. The room smelled like people smoke in it (tons of cigarette butts on the patio just outside the sliding door). I put the AC on and it helped with smell. We stayed here for access to the pool and to visit the Aquarium the next day. For the $ this place's pool is better than the Hilton up the hill (and like 3Xs cheaper). I would stay again, at a good price (shoulder season), if it was for 1 night so the kids could swim but would change rooms if we got a smokey one.

Clean renovated room, as previous reviews said, hotel is going through renovations. But room was clean and air conditioner worked great in room. Requested blankets at night and housekeeping was very prompt with delivery. Swimming pool was great, son had a blast swimming! Also breakfast at connected diner was good too and discount available if you show room key. All in all great stay for the price and very close to downtown Mystic and also aquarium. We definitely would stay again, great hotel for a basic stay. Room has mini fridge, which we used and a safe (we didn’t use). Also ice machine at hotel was convenient.

Clean property. Easy parking and close to Mystic Village. Good water pressure in the shower. Staff was helpful. The first room offered to us has a buzzing sound and we got a new room right the way. It has all the basic you need - fridge, microwave, a safe etc, but nothing too fancy. Good when you are at the hotel for sleep.
