Was on bottom floor. Windows were not locked. When I came back from working overnight, my window was wide open after I had locked them and screen was bent like someone was breaking in.

First night I've checked in the hotel, the receptionist charged me twice on my credit card for the amount of $80 and $100 even though my 4 night-stay has been paid through Expedia. The non-smoking room smells strong smoke in front of the room and the foyer. I've called and asked the receptionist to move me to other room and he said he will try to find it and let me know soon, but it never happen until I left. At the third day, during the day and night the room Air Conditioning didn't work, it was hot in the room and reached 80F, I called the receptionist and they fixed it the next day by replacing the dirty filter. The poor breakfast also disappointed me, they don't even have an eggs, only some small cold muffins, bread, coffee and tea. I have Marriot Bonvoy's Ambassador Elite Service Membership and Reward but the Receptionist told me that this Hotel did not apply those service and reward because I booked it through Expedia not through Marriot directly. The Hotel also charged me $26 for 4 nights parking. Overall, I'm very disappointed with Residence Inn By Marriot Houston Westchase Service. I have stayed there for 45 days back in January 2016 and the service was good, but now is poor. I will not recommend this hotel to my family and friends. and I've found a dead cockroach in the living room coat closet. The second

Below average. Hallway smelled. Rooms smelled. Unbearable odor in elevator. Front desk staff friendlyness below average. Had booked two rooms and had requested adjacent ones. My room request was confirm over the phone with the hotel but when checking in there and as no record. Was given rooms in two different ends of the building. Room and bathroom cleanliness was below average. Overall a very bad experience. Would not recommend to anyone. I can't believe they are part of Marriott hotel group.

As expected...always the BEST overall at Marriott Residence Inn. Especially comforting was their secure parking. The Front Staff was very professional and courteous. Highly recommend their Houston Westchase location.
