We have a very satisfactory stay at Black Friars. The room was neat and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, The bathroom was modern and gleaming. We tried the continental breakfast and eggs Benedict in the morning and it was delicious. The service was warm and welcoming. If you are looking for en evening of lively and entertaining Scottish music, you couldn’t do better than McGregor’s which is just down the block. We are happy to recommend Black Friars to anyone planning a stay in Inverness.

Location couldn’t have been better, room was comfortable and clean. A few things seemed like they needed some attention (coffee maker didn’t work, no anti-slip shower mat, keys were kind of annoying) but those were very minor and overall it was great. I’d recommend it for anyone staying in Inverness.

This historic building is in the perfect location. The dining area is remodeled and absolutely beautiful. Food is really good. The rooms are very nice as well. Just remember there’s no lifts to rooms as it’s a historic building. The location is so close to rail and bus stations. The staff is super nice and very helpful with any needs you might have. Would highly recommend staying here.

The room was spotless and the staff was amazing. The food there is incredible as well. Please make a note that there is not an elevator so if you have any issues carrying your suitcases up a flight upstairs or two, you may want to reconsider. Would definitely stay there again!
