Well Done!
Fantastic location, friendly staff, nicely decorated room and very comfy for work. The restaurant was also amazing, I had the sweetest waitress. Well done Lord Nelson for keeping up your hospitality standard!

Nice stay
Nice grand old hotel. Good location for walking around town. Room and bed were comfy although the noise from doors slamming down the hall was irritating. Complementary umbrellas were appreciated and sitting on the front porch with a drink watching the rain was lovely. We would stay here again.

Great family-friendly hotel!
We loved our stay at the Lord Nelson! Our room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect across from the Public Gardens and within walking distance to the waterfront or the north end.

One night stay en route to Cape Breton
Central location with a lot of restaurant options. Very well stocked amenities. I especially enjoyed the laundromat for guests - the machines were brand new, in great condition and easy to use. As a special bonus: it's free! Detergents and fabric soften we're provided free of charge!

Great hotel.
Comfortable room and seating area and big plus a kettle in the room. Not so good was the extremely small bathroom with no ventilation or space to put anything. Hotel staff were all amazing and friendly a good stay overall.

Home away from home
Awesome experience, beds are comfy, service attentive, had a roof cargo box on so we couldn’t fit in the hotel parking garage which allows only 6'2" height space but the hotel has a oversized vehicle parking lot in back of the hotel which was great.

Stayed here before. Will stay here again!
Loved our repeat stay at the Lord Nelson. What a fantastic hotel in the heart of Halifax. The room was luxurious. The bed soft supple and so comfy. Loved the Nespresso machine in our room. This time it was just for one night, but we can't wait to come back for another longer repeat stay. Our new favorite!
