Clean comfortable and not mass market- great place to stay, 20 minute walk to market square at the docks and plenty of interesting restaurants in the immediate area. Breakfast buffet amazing (and included). Dinner also included but is a one- option affair so may want to skip especially if vegetarian.

Unique building, centrally located, excellent breakfast with gluten /lactose free options, decent gym. 15 min walk to city center, restaurant & market right next door, 10 min drive to cruise terminal. Would stay here again. Could eat all meals here, which are included, but don’t miss the Armenian food next door!

This historic hotel has character, with special touches everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is quite a spread! The hotel also includes dinner, though we arrived too late to partake. It is a sprawling property, requiring many (likely most) guests to go outdoors and in again to get to the rooms. The hotel is very convenient to all the shops and sights in Helsinki. We walked to the waterfront, then caught a tram on the way back.

Good location, easy walk from Kamppi station. Arrived early but was able to use luggage store until check in time. An impressive lobby with a small bar area. Comfortable room (standard double) with safe and tea & coffee facilities. Our room was round the back of the main hotel in the modern annexe however there was a connecting corridor. Afternoon fika (coffee & cakes) was a nice touch but wasn't worth rushing back for. Evening meal waas quite good but no choice. For the 2nts we stayed it was pork both nights - belly pork one night, pulled pork the second.

Room was small but clean and comfortable- bed was very good. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent - perhaps 8pm for breakfast is quite late though, we missed breakfast on our last day because we had to leave at 8am. Great value given meals are included - we really like the Home House Hotels.

The building is striking and unique and in a great location. The public areas are spectacular: Helsinki Jugendstil. I loved the gym, which has free weights, kettlebells, a rowing machine, yoga mats, blocks, and belts and meditation cushions. The meals and fika are lavish. If I am ever in Helsinki again, I will stay at Hotel Jugend.
