I used this hotel as a base in Auckland while I travelled North and South Island. I checked in and out three times and that is a testament of how I felt about this hotel, it was great and I kept coming back. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well situated in the city and we were able to eat, shop, and sightsee with everything within an easy distance of the hotel. The only hiccup was that I had initially reserved Social 1 King and then modified the reservation to a Social King View Inclusions Galore, within what I thought was a reasonable timeframe, but when we arrived they only said we had the original reservation and I had to show them my Hotels.com app to prove that we had upgraded our reservation. We ended up not receiving all the inclusions, but we did get the parking included, which was fine. On the last day of our stay, they apologized for the mixup. I would stay here again and try not to alter my reservation so as not to cause any problems.
