Great hotel to stay at. It is in a great location, close to public transportation, which we didn't ise actually, as everything touristy was at a walkable distance, includingthe central train station. Our only compliant was the stuffines of the room. The weather was pleasant outside, so we kept our windows open. It's really noisy during the day. Surprisingly quiet at night. The hotel itself is quite charming with great staff. We'd definitely stay there again.

The Hotel Maritim is beautifully designed with a multistory atrium. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had a drink at their rooftop restaurant with amazing views of the river and the city. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, service and well appointed accommodations.

We liked the proximity to the tourist sites we walked to. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. We liked there was a fridge. For the price of the room, parking should have included although it was not terrible at 29euro.

I stayed two nights, they didn't clean up my room, I don't have an explication for that. I left the room at 11 and I said clearly to the cleaning lady in German my room is free. Breakfast is good for variety but very average quality. Room is okay, bed comfortable.

My 8 day stay was spoilt by the lack of the most basic facilities - 2 of the lifts not working during my stay ... the revolving entrance door also not working. Restaurants not opened. On Friday 31/10 for example only one restaurant available as the Hotel were also accommodating a wedding; this in conjunction with the lift situation meant room service was the only option.Room decor very dated. Housekeeping poor - room was not service on 31/10 - presumably because the Hotel was so busy with the Wedding & other events being hosted. Despite booking a superior room ensuite facilities poor - shower not great. There was also a stale smell in the room despite requesting non smoking ( had to keep windows open during the day).Honestly there are better 3* Hotels than the Maritim. Felt I had been robbed. Never again!

Christmas Markets

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and really set us up for our daily visits out to the markets. Prefect location to walk to all the Christmas Markets, train station, dining options etc. hence we did not eat in-house.

The only plus I have is the location and convenience to the city center. The hotel itself was not worth it at all to me. Very dated, mid 80s stained carpet, bad furniture. The elevators are trash, we waited over ten minutes multiple times for it to get to us. The rooms themselves had no ventilation, so it was just a hot box with no AC. I would definitely it recommend this hotel.

Location was excellent. The property is a little outdated, but the beds are comfortable and the atrium and courtyard were the main features of this hotel. Check out was very slow, but friendly staff. A good place to stay if you want to be central to the DOM. However, a little pricey for what you get.

Central location making it very easy for a weekend away. The building looked impressive in the common areas, however the rooms were pretty average and quite dated. Breakfast was great, lots of options and even beer and sparkling wine available. Staff weren't great though and let the place down, always quite abrupt and not particularly friendly. No one at reception gave us any info on facilities, no one at breakfast advised on the options available for ordered items etc. I advised in advance the trip was for my husband's birthday and this wasn't acknowledged at all. Upon checking out I asked if I could fill my water bottle up at a tap or from a jug and they just said no, they said I could only use the tap in the toilets.
