Fantastic location, good staff, varied breakfast, large room. I paid for the premium room overlooking the square. Didn't like the brown mesh curtain that was between the double glazing and couldn't be moved. Severely obscured the view you're paying the premium for

The junior suite was amazing and the blinds were fun. Large bathtub also a bonus. What was not fun was the pull-out sofa. Maybe b/c I'm from the US but that was NOT a pull out bed. Extremely uncomfortable. When I called downstairs to ask for bedding/linens for the bed, the front desk woman was shocked that I was asking for it! She said "is someone going to sleep there?" And she told me if I wanted linens I would have to come get it myself. The person sleeping on it said they woke up in the middle of the night with the most painful jaw pain and back pain. So please if you are considering this room and are planning to use it, just don't. That whole experience is what took me away from 5 stars. Parking on site super easy.

I make the booking mostly hour before arrive to the hotel and she kind but didn’t know how to find my reservation. I spent lots of time to wait for hotel confirmation but my transaction from my card going through straight away and I receive confirmation booking email from Hotels.com straightaway Breakfast stuff, so lovely and kind

I got a good deal through Expedia on a Suite plus breakfast, usually I don't treat myself but it was worth it, great room with good views. The tram system in Leipzig is excellent and there is a very useful hub just opposite the hotel in Augustusplatz, also nice walks through the city to the many restaurants.

Perfect for short-term

The hotel is just on the edge of the centre of leipzig, perfect location 2 min walk to the start of shops and restaurants and sights,the breakfast is good with a very good selection but it doesget busy and not too easy to get a table, maybe if they had someone to lead guests to a table it would be less hassle for guests, the rooms are very adequate but are getting a little tired looking, the carpet could be replaced

Experience of staying in Junior suite

Arrived at hotel before advertised check in time. I had request for early checking through hotels.com messaging at the time of booking, however there was no consideration given to this request and room was made available only at 3pm check in time. I stayed for 3 days, house keeping standard was poor, with only superficial touch up of sheets returns to their normal place. Room wasn’t clean, half filled glasses left touched, spoons inadequately cleaned, toiletries not refilled. Inspire of booking their 2nd expensive suite, Ironing faculty which should be basic was not available. Upon enquiry I was told ironing needs to be done in a communal ironing room! Only upon protest, ironing equipment was sent to the room! On a positive note, room was surprisingly spacious and modern (better than in the pics). Hotel and transport facilities are easy to access.

Very weird hotel. Asked for a twin room, got one big bed with 2 duvets - apparently that is a twin room . Bathroom is open to the elements to your room mate can see you shower - there is no privacy at all. Whoever decided that the shower needed to have you on display to all made a very bad decision. Wouldn't stay here again just because of that
