10/10 Exceptional

Hotel is in a great location in Reykjavik. Walking distance to all the main attractions, and plenty of good restaurants and bakeries nearby. Also really useful for public transport or for getting picked up for tours, with a main bus stop right outside the hotel. A good selection of food was provided for breakfast, and there’s a nice bar attached to the hotel that does a decent happy hour (very important with the drink prices in Iceland lol). Only drawback was the toilet door - it was a sliding door and it didn’t close all the way over. So just something to bear in mind, depending on who you are travelling with and how comfortable you are with each other.
