Honestly, I don’t think this is a true five-star hotel. I chose this hotel because it had air conditioning, but the room was quite small, and the fitness center was very basic. The breakfast was average. There was no coffee machine, and to be ordered from the staff. It also seemed that almost every additional service came with an extra charge. Other than its convenient location, I couldn’t find any significant advantages.

This hotel is Michelin star hotel, and it was fabulous. Excellent location!! The room was incredibly beautiful and clean, huge bathroom, and very comfortable bed with fluffy pillows! Updated, historic hotel, close to the city center, Excellent staff, comfortable clean and comfortable rooms with a nice bathroom. Great breakfast buffet - however, quite a few external guests came to the hotel for breakfast on the Holidays, so reservations of a table for “peak breakfast times” is recommended. The restaurant also offers very good, contemporary German cuisine Regarding transport to the airport in Munich the hotel works with an external, local car company - however, reserve for a pick up from the hotel with a good margin as today (still a Holiday in Germany) there was quite a delay regarding the pick up.

Perfect hotel for visit to Augsburg

I am so glad I picked this hotel for my 3 night stay. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and so comfortable. I really enjoyed the shower and slept well. The room and hotel were clean. The location is right on the Main Street in this very walkable town. There are many restaurants within a few steps as well as shopping and grocery stores. I visited in August so I preferred the restaurants with outdoor terraces. The hotel has a parking garage for your car and bellman and valet service. The train station is about a 10 minute walk. I parked my car but took a Daytrip by train. It is a nice station. I would definitely stay there again!

Always great service and staff. Arrived very early before check-in after a 3 hour train ride around 0900 and asked Luisa at the front desk if they can store my bag while I walked around Augsburg. She checked on my room and told me it was ready. What a convenience and 9 out of 10 times they can accommodate an early check-in. Breakfast was very good as always but my only issue was that the potatoes were undercooked. Omelettes were made to order and the serving staff offered to get me coffee as always. I will always stay here whenever I visit Augsburg. Thank you!

Some rooms don't have windows that you can open and in general there are no black-out drapes so you can't sleep from sunrise on without professional eye-pads. It was a huge problem for us so we will not be staying again.
