Truly a magical experience. This was the last stop on a busy 9-day adventure and the perfect place to relax and refresh. The gardens and grounds are gorgeous, the beds are very comfortable, bathroom and towels are luxurious and the breakfast was exceptional. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was spacious and attractive. The hotel overall is very well cared for and the staff seem to be very happy to work there - they are extremely helpful and friendly. The highlight of our stay was the truly delicious dinner we enjoyed - a very memorable, high-quality meal. The heating in our room was domestic style radiators and it was tricky to get the room temperature right, this was a minor detail.

Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area.

Peaceful place to stay

Fischers Baslow Hall is a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The staff are excellent, helpful and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend staying here. The restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. However, there are plenty of places to eat in Baslow, which is about a twenty-minute walk.
