The location was ideal. We stayed in three places in Madeira and this was our favourite. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are quite small. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked well. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the bay which was nice. Breakfast was good and is served on the roof so you can enjoy the view. Parking is nearby at a busy public lot. Guys hang out there to assist you in finding a spot. Just have to be patient and give them a tip!

I absolutely adored my stay. It’s got ideal views, perfect for relaxing. The food for breakfast is great, even had gluten free options. Great overall location to tour Madeira, especially being outside Funchal easier for car navigation. Nice property, great views of bay, 1st floor does have many tourist pass by in daytime. Great breakfast with views wonderful. Nice staff. Laundry service a plus. Parking situation/must use public lots is only negative as well as some homeless in the area...and hustle all when parking. Just give then a euro for their assistance finding you a spot. Would still stay here again!:
