Pestana CR7 Funchal is a fantastic place to stay in Madeira. The central location makes it easy to explore the city, and the views over the harbour - especially watching the cruise ships come and go - are excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious with a great variety to choose from. Honestly, what’s not to like?

Superb hospitality with one of the best I have seen in Europe, pleasant and friendly staff. The location of the hotel is not only at walking distance to all major sightseeing in Funchal, but also have tour operator options nearby and within the hotel itself. The central location makes it quite easy and convenient to commute with the public transport nearby. The rooms are also spacious with perfect Ocean view to grace your vacation everyday. The breakfast had a wide variety of food selection with also a possibility for customized preference. The hotel also had an option to get a breakfast package incase someone would like to leave early in morning for sightseeing. The area is also very safe to roam around and go for walks around after sunset.
