A marquee Hotel in a wonderful part of NYC. Close to all the attractions and functional to go uptown & downtown. Storied History and wonderful staff. Wish the gym was a little larger (can be busy during mornings) and the building had a rooftop but the Villard bar is a throwback to a bygone era!

What a beautiful hotel! We loved every moment of our stay. We had a great view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral from our room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Gold Room is gorgeous! Everyone should go to the bar and enjoy the beauty. We look forward to staying here again.

Great location and room. Beautiful building. The one thing to watch out is the breakfast price. As soon as they seat you, they ask if you want juice ($10). Would you like water? ($14 a bottle-ask for tap water) Would you like berries on the side of your yogurt? ($20). For 2 people with the automatic 20% tip included-- $160. Go across the street to Starbucks.
