Clean room, a bit small, but to be expected in an older boutique hotel. Perfect distance to walk around Princeton. Continental breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, overnight oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juices, and some baked goods. We were happy with it, with the exception of the baked goods; those could definitely be improved.

The Peacock Inn is a charming boutique hotel in a perfect location, just a short walk to downtown Princeton and the campus. The property is beautiful, with lovely outdoor seating areas and friendly staff. Rooms are small but with thoughtful touches like bathrobes and makeup washcloths. The continental breakfast is simple but adequate. Overall, a lovely stay and a great choice for visiting Princeton.

The staff at the hotel is amazing. The location, if you need to be near campus, is ideal. On the down side: the hotel advertised pillowtop mattresses, but instead the rooms had uncomfortably firm mattresses. The hotel is quite noisy, and guests slamming doors will shake the whole building, in some cases quite late in the night. The breakfast was merely packaged food, and there were crumbs all over the table.

The inn was lovely except the breakfast was not very well looked after. They ran out of coffee and told us they couldn’t make more because they didn’t have any. What? There weren’t basic things like silverware, salt, butter etc that were missing. On a Sunday morning they had no valet to help us get our luggage from the third floor or get our car. It is a lovely, expensive place. Attention to detail was missing.

Nice place. Well put together and overall, friendly staff. Pleasant, cozy, clean room but could hear some outside sounds. Carpet a little stained, otherwise excellent. Included breakfast was basic. Afternoon tea (separate and open to the public) was not recomendable. Nothing like the real thing. Bar was well stocked.

Charming Inn Close To Town

The charming inn offers small but comfortable rooms, a great bar where a basic continental breakfast is served, and a restaurant. We held a Sunday brunch there for 12 people. Unfortunately the service was exceedingly slow, but the food good. The dining rooms are very pleasant.
