Just a basic old room
It was okay for a night. I requested a fridge with my reservation and didn’t get one. I asked at the front desk and they said there was no note and they didn’t have one. The room was very tired and in need of renovations. All the outlets were take by the lamps and TV…so I needed to plug my phone in in the bathroom. The TV was along side the bed and not comfortable to watch. Bed was comfortable.

Public areas were lovely. Room was clean, which is non-negotiable, of course, if you’re staying in any hotel. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, but that may be because we were on the “Promenade” level which is below ground level. When I booked the deluxe king, I wanted to see exactly which one of the options I was choosing but the hotel names the rooms and deluxe king wasn’t mentioned in any of the room descriptions. Just wanted to know which room I was getting.

Nice stay
Pleasant stay. I’ve been here many times before. While hotel overall is nice, the bar, the food are excellent, the hotel is showing its age. Our toilet kept running (which I fixed) but the sink didn’t have a screen thingy on the spout so the water was going all over. Decor is dated. But overall I still like the MPI.
