The room was a really nice size. Clean and tidy with a comfy bed and the shower was very good. There was a kettle and a TV. We were in one of the outside rooms and it was very quiet even though there was a beer garden. The pub itself was very nice and all the staff were really welcoming and friendly. There was some refurbishment being done on the exterior of the property but this was not intrusive at all as we were out all day exploring

We were in one of the rooms in a converted building at the back of the pub. And it was lovely. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, lovely shower room. It was delightful. Staff were really helpful, and breakfast was fabulous. We will certainly return.

Stayed for one night. The room we got facec the road but it was not noisy. The location was superb because it was walking distance to many tourist places. Many restaurants & shops nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was very limited but no extra charges.

Room OK, room 8, quiet in annex at rear of building. Comfortable bed and good night's sleep. Reception friendly, but bar closed when I returned, despite being told it would be open. Mediocre breakfast, unfriendly service. Only rubbish instant coffee and no vegetarian option for full breakfast. Walk-ins have between 09:00 and 12:00, whilst hotel guests only have between 09:00 and 09:30. I presume this is to facilitate the unreasonably early checkout time of 10:00. Poor value for what I paid, but not worth a formal complaint. I wouldn't stay here again.
