Room was spacious, comfortable and mostly clean. Easy overnight stay. Front desk staff was courteous. Place is kind of rundown in general, but good enough for a quick night on the road. Dock and dock bar / restaurant not accessible or operable. So the main photo you see when making your lodging choice is not open. Pool was open. This was probably a great hotel back in the day, but it is in decline.

A lovely property near the lake. The shower valve was stuck on shower vs tub and there were a couple missing bulbs, but otherwise the plumbing, electric and AC were fine. The room was not just "Florida clean" but actually quite clean and nice. Hard flooding meant no mildew. The lookout area five floors up was a nice surprise, with steady breeze and views of the lake over the levee. All around, an excellent value for the midweek price.
