The good with the bad
When we arrived, check in was easy. We were told where our room was so I got parked and unloaded walked in on the side our room was on and had to walk to the other side of the building to use the elevator because our elevator was out of order. We got to our room which was clean but dated and worn. It did have a decent size fridge and microwave which came in handy. The pool area was nice but people smoking cigarettes near the pool side bar were a downside. The location was good in that it was right on the beach so that was really nice but was it was a mile or so from all the restaurants on the stretch. So walking wasn’t much of an option with little ones. We tried to eat at the restaurant but the hostess never came to seat us. Seemed like they were really understaffed. Salt life restaurant, burrito works taco shop were both worth while restaurants! So in all not worth the 300 per night there were other options I thing would have been better.

Don’t do it!!
We were highly disappointed! For the price we paid we could have gone to the Marriott or Embassy Suites and had a much better experience. We sat on the bed and found it was dipping- the foot leg was broken, the room smelled like rotten eggs and my body even smells like it after showering. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, there was POOP marks in the back of the toilet, the shower curtain Rod was about to come off, the AC wasn’t even working properly. For $380 go else where, this is a runner down MOTEL, nothing about it is a hotel and/or resort. What a waste of money! The elevator needs a lot of work!!

No hot water in room. Room not clean. Very noisy with mechanical sounds. Little sound proofing between rooms. Resort needs to be totally remodeled to bring it up to date. Only one elevator working and it would shake every time it started moving.

Wonderful place to stay
Perfect location right on the beach, very nice large room with balcony, very clean, pet friendly, great restaurant, very friendly staff. Would happily stay there again and highly recommend it to others. Technically not a resort since only amenities are beach, pool, and restaurant but very convenient just minutes away from old St Augustine Alligator Farm, both regular and mini golf, kayaking, nature trails, and wonderful restaurants

Great staff, enjoyed the restaurant. Great location and the pool area looked nice. However rooms were extremely dated, poor furnishings and bathroom was poorly remodeled. I don’t think Guy Harvey would stay here. In my opinion, overpriced for the value.
