Hidden gem in St. Augustine
The staff was amazing!! Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is a hidden gem because you wouldn't expect to have this type of oceanfront access to the beach. The view was amazing and just being steps away from the beach was the icing on the cake. The breakfast was also delicious and my family and I just enjoyed our stay overall. If we are in town again we are STAYING here!!!

Gone downhill over the last couple of years!
The hotel has gone downhill over the last several years. When we checked in, the room we booked was out of service and we had to take a different room. That room was musty smelling and overlooked the parking lot. I had specifically booked a room with a jetted tub and with a beach view. They did relocate us to a different room which also smelled musty and the door mechanism was questionable, but it was better but still not the jetted tub. They gave me a little discount but it was definitely not enough. There was trash in the pool and hot tub that was never removed for the three days/two nights we were there. The tables in the breakfast area were dirty and wobbly, spilled coffee just by touching it. I realize that a hurricane is a big deal, but why haven't they at least started to recover the pathway to the beach, its been months and for what they charge, they need to do maintenance all around. Parking lot was good and the hot tub was hot! Food was decent at breakfast, so some positives and we had a really great time in St. Augustine. The Tini Martini Bar is awesome!!!
