We had a good stay. The hotel is close to restaurants and easy to get on Hwy 20. Having a breakfast is helpful.

Met my needs. Cut back a notch on using Pinesol(or similar) in cleaning...smells definitely too strong. Very clean, quiet, had amenities I need. Construction work appears to be complete.

It appeared to be a one staff member running everything. Both mornings food area was not supplied, had to ask for additional towels for 2nd day and was the same person… at arrival the room was overwhelmed with bleach/lysol smell- could dilute that better. The beds need replaced as they were squeaky. Conveniently located to activities!

The staff was excellent. The room was very clean. Breakfast was included and good (altho I would have loved to have had bacon or sausage with my eggs). Parking was good and included in the cost of the room.

Nothing fancy, but clean and friendly. Breakfast was thin, especially hot items, but we survived :)

Booked 3 rooms, 1 had bed bugs and she had to move in middle of the night. Staff was very accommodating and got her another room, & refunded her. We have heard this can happen in any hotel but overall the rooms were clean and comfortable.

It was a great place for one night stay. Not much of a variety for breakfast. Pool was freezing cold. Quiet space. All stores were in close proximity which was nice!

This was our 1st stay at the Dubuque Inn & Suites. The check-in process was very seamless and quick. The hotel receptionist was very curious and friendly. The free breakfast was nothing special, but sufficient for us.

6/10 Good

Start with the good and end with the bad. For $175 for two queens on a Saturday night. Not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. I think $125 would be the most they should charge. The good: Easy location with plenty of parking, easy check in, and not overly crowded. The bad: Old AC units that are loud and not the best which probably need to be replaced. Breakfast sucked but was free so can’t complain too much. Pieces of dark long hair that’s not from me in the shower and in the shower. Next time will definitely spend the extra 50 bucks for one of the nicer hotels. Avoid unless you want to save a bit of money and only need to sleep.

New ownership, so remodeling with dumpsters in the parking lot and smell of new paint in the hotel. Looks like they are trying to upgrade a few things. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good.
