Mansion was pretty cool with a lot of history to it, however, it is in need of repairs and touch ups throughout. Room was clean and breakfast was very good. Robert was welcoming and had a good sense of humor. Great location, close to restaurant, shopping, casino, and the river.

The mansion was beautiful and decorated Victorian style. Our room had its own A/C unit and attached bathroom with shower and spa tub. Breakfast was a delicious combo of cold buffet and personally served hot ham and egg sandwich. The owner is a great host and happy to tell the history of the house and area. Located in downtown Dubuque and walking distance to restaurants.

Great historical B&B

This is an historic B&B, it’s cozy and comfortable, like my grandmother’s house. The manager is extremely personable and helpful. Breakfast was at 8am, served hot with a wide selection of fruit, pastries, juices etc. Very much enjoyed my stay.

For the two of us, the security of it was great. Yes each floor had cameras on it but being under surveillance from the owner was not an issue for us. The room was spacious and was very very quiet at night. I was suspect at first upon walking in but will for sure book another stay when in the area. The owner of the property was great and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable.

Bad sign when you walk n the front door and see a sign that says for sale by owner. Property is run down. Space heater in room. Only 1 choice for breakfast and we were not given vegetarian options. Owner was busy trying to convince another couple to buy the bed and breakfast. There are much better options in Dubuque for lodging
