"Although it is an older property, the first hotel to open in the area from what we are told, it was very clean and comfortable. Yes there are a lot of stairs but it wasnt so bad and you get used to it after a couple days. There are many trees and plants along the walkways and to the paths to the pool and beach. It has scenic views and the staff is very friendly and also helpful. We asked the beat and cheapest way to get into town and they offered us good recommendations. We would definitely come...

"What a lovely hidden gem in the Playa de Ropa area! Each room was beautifully decorated, the staff was attentive and friendly. We had been staying in Ixtapa and needed an early check-in, the owner was prompt in his response and welcomed us upon arrival. There is a great breakfast offered (with a charge) and the pool was lovely for an afternoon dip. Would definately stay again if we go back to Zihuatanejo."

"Great find, seems newly renovated with nice new everything, and a great new pool area. I also liked there was a real window in my room for some fresh air in the evenings… Friendly staff and a good location near local markets and restaurants. Gem of a local breakfast (Carmelitas) and dinner (Papa Loca) within a 5 minute walk, or just eat in the hotel . Also an easy 15 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend this place for the value for money shopper"

"I paid for 1 night in Expedia but the hotel also charged me for the same night. No wash cloth, frayed towels, but biggest problem was no hot water. I talk to the front desk twice. Water was probably 75 degrees. I understand I am in Mexico but very few employees could speak English. Stayed 7 days prior at annother hotel and almost all employees could speak English. Had to extend my stay by 3 days but changed with in hours to 2 extra days. Had fantastic massage but I would never stay at this...
