Cozy room

Cozy place to stay, property was very clean. Breakfast included was a huge plus.

8/10 Very good

Very clean room with clean linens. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were usually left a cluttered, wet mess by a large group of other guests, who made a tremendous amount of noise until very late each night. The decor was oddly… eclectic… but interesting. Walking to the hotel for breakfast wasn’t a problem, and the food was delicious. We caught an unexpected aurora one night, and stayed outside for 2 full hours. (Could have used another layer, though.) We were worried about the mid-August nautical twilight interfering, but the photos were amazing!

Good location

A good location in town. Not too far from the hotel where breakfast is provided

The facility was immaculate. Breakfast was very good. There was fresh pineapple, melon. Hot food such as scrambled eggs and bacon were on the daily breakfast buffet. The shared bathrooms were clean and tidy

6/10 Good

The most annoying feature was arriving at the address of the guest house and finding a note advising us that the location for check-in was about a 7-minute walk away. Not knowing the town, the directions weren't clear, but Google maps saved us. Other than that, it was a good experience. It was clean, quiet and conveniently located.

It’s in a good location downtown, but you have to walk a few blocks from the main hotel where you check in and have breakfast. Nice breakfast though. There’s no staff on site. Street parking is a little tricky—we got lucky

This guesthouse will bring you back into another timeline. There are so many interesting history pictures and pieces on the walls, it’s really neat to see. It’s a lovely old building that reminds me of anyone’s grandparents house. With it being older though, it’s a little outdated and not in the greatest shape. The carpets are quite dirty and stained but we had no problem wearing socks and just looking past it. The shower and bathrooms are quite small. There are plenty of common areas and places to hang out.

The breakfast was great. That was the only good thing. Beds uncomfortable, had to share a bathroom.

Stained carpet, no effort at decor, no staff on premises, breakfast many blocks away, toilet seat broken.

6/10 Good

Decor needs an uplift, especially upstairs. Feels like neglect and cost saving not respect for character of old building. Shared facilities need updating. Stained carpet and lack of decorative touches. Good location and free parking in streets around. Good breakfast at hotel.

2/10 Poor

Unclean and dirty. Floors covered in stains. Strong smell of mold in bedrooms. My partner and I were unable to stay here due to the health concerns with the mold, especially as one of us is asthmatic. Hotel staff at the nearby remote check in desk were friendly and accommodating, and did facilitate moving us to a new location for the night. I unfortunately cannot recommend this particular guesthouse, however the other affiliated hotels are fine.

This place was gross! Filthy carpet, holes in the wall, peeling paint. I'm thin and I could hardly fit in the WC.

Vastaanotto toisessa hotellissa eli henkilökuntaa ei paikalla majapaikassa. Huoneen lattia nuhruinen. Aamiainen toisessa hotellissa oli herkullinen.

Kelpo matkustajakoti, vaikka vanha talo

Hyvä yöpyminen, vanha talo, mutta mukava ja hiljainen paikka. Aamiainen lähihotellilla.

Sweet and Simple

It was old fashioned and quite sweet. It was reasonably comfortable but the fact that it is managed by a larger hotel takes away a bit of the charm. Having said that, the breakfast, which was served in the hotel, was really quite nice.
