    Frost and fire room 11

Nice hot spring out our door. Breakfast was good. Stayed in room 11 with king bed. Was too small of a room for a king bed and luggage. Room also needs maintenence.

    We’ll Stay Again

After reading some bad reviews, we weren’t sure what to expect. Our stay was lovely though. Our room was a bit small but the property and hot tubs were wonderful.

Disappointing experience. Booked a standard room with “standard view” on the courtyard with junk bins. The room was generally ok, though very small. We got notified by the hotel on our day of arrival that the on-site restaurant isn’t open as it’s a different owner and “out of their hands”. Yet disappointing to learn as it wasn’t indicated at all on the facility’s website. Breakfast was once served as a buffet which was great. The other day we got notified that the buffet was closed and the breakfast would be served to our rooms as a “breakfast package”. It was ok and worked out fine but it’s not what I expected from a “higher quality” hotel. Hot tubs as well as pool have certainly seen better days. We are aware that for COVID it’s a special situation. Yet, I should be able to expect more from the service than we received. For the money they’re charging, I expect way more than that. This way it was a disappointing experience and unfortunately I don’t recommend this hotel.

Frost and Fire Boutique Hotel Rocks

Frost and Fire Boutique Hotel is a hidden gym. The scenery, the tubs, the short walk to a wonderful, little town. We stayed here three nights and loved every minute.

I'm just a bit disappointed that no where did it say the restaurant had changed hands, Google still lists as Varma and I thought we were eating at Varma, we were not, the new restaurant was awful. However the hotel was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the pools are amazing, very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend staying river facing vs car park, the first 2 rooms not the most private as passed to access the others and large glass windows.

    So cute!

Our stay was so good! We enjoyed the hot tub during the day, and loved the delicious breakfast they served every morning. Not to mention the cute eating area with a great view to go with! Coffee (lattes specifically) was available all day long but was a nice addition.

    Satisfied but not thrilled

We really liked the setting of the hotel, it is in a very picturesque area. The rooms were small, but clean and tidy. Our main concerns were a lack of front desk staff at night, loud drunk guests in the hot tub outside our room after midnight when it was supposed to be closed but there was no front desk staff to address the issue. The restaurant was nice although the claims I’ve seen online that all the food was cooked with hot steam were not accurate when we were there.
