Die Lage und der Service,einfach perfekt! Wir erhielten bei Ankunft ein Zimmerupgrade (Zimmer 471, mit Abstand das aller beste Zimmer, mit zusätzlicher Seitenterrasse!!) und konnten unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen geniessen. Das Personal ist extrem bemüht und da läuft wirklich alles am Schnürchen. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!! Nochmals herzlichen Dank!

You pay for the legend
Going to Positano for the first time and not staying at the Splendido would have been like missing something. Was it worth the price ? Well if you accept that you partly pay to stay in a legendary place yes....otherwise no. This said the hotel is wonderful and service amazing. I regret that wifi did not work perfectly everywhere, especially in the pool area. Much more unbearable : too many noisy children in the pool with some parents even giving swimming lessons !!!! This really was a spoiler . How about making Splendido an adult only hotel or open another pool for kids ?

The Belmond Portofino is a luxurious hotel set atop the mountainside with a great view of the harbor. The hotel is well appointed and luxurious, the rooms a bit smaller than would be expected but the location and service can not be beat!

L'hôtel est un enchantement. La vue extraordinaire sur le port de Portofino, on prend plaisir à regarder le ballet des bateaux entrer au port. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique.
La piscine a débordement d'eau de mer chauffée est impressionnante.
Le port est à une petite dizaine de minutes à pied par un petit chemin très charmant (la remontée est plus difficile mais on prend son temps, ou il y a des navettes).
Nous avons passé 3 jours de pur bonheur
