Enjoyable hotel stay

I chose this hotel for its location. It is within walking distance of the places where I wanted to visit. There is a bit of wear and tear in the hotel but it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Also I found the food in the restaurant to be great and reasonably priced. I had a very early checkout and the kitchen staff prepared me some food to go as I would miss the breakfast service. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Cebu City.

I chose this hotel because of the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the rooftop bar. They run it like a nightclub with loud booming music. We walked up there, couldn't even hear what the waiter said, and then immediately walked out. Later, we ordered a pizza from room service which wasn't very good. The breakfast was not very impressive. It was supposed to be available at 6 AM. We were in the lobby shortly after 6:30 AM and the breakfast was not fully available. The coffee was cold and it seemed pretty obvious that no one on the staff really cared.

There are no phones in the rooms. Guests are required to WhatsApp msg in with issues. They monitor it poorly, however, which meant frequent trips downstairs. Some of the waitstaff could urgently use some training about how to wait tables.
