Perfect Weekend at a terrific B&B

Our stay was wonderful! Check in was so efficient, the room was beautiful and comfortable, Linde was so welcoming and helpful, breakfast was great, and chatting with Linde and the other guests was interesting and fun. We will definitely be back should we go to Boston again!

Excellent location, close to Davis Square and Tufts which was our reason for visiting. Short walk to the T to get into downtown Boston and many fine restaurants nearby. House was in great shape and there was a pleasant sitting room which even had a cat to pet.

Wonderful stay

I had a lovely time at the Davies Inn. It was really quaint and comfortable. My room was nice , the bed was really comfortable. I really enjoyed the daily coffee French press at breakfast . Definitely recommend if you look for something quiet

Dear Susan, Linde and Rod, thank you very much for the wonderful time in your B&B. I really enjoyed the cosy breakfasts with fresh cake and the nice evening discussions with the other guests. See you soon. With kind regards from Stralsund, Edgar

The Davis Inn was lovely to stay at. Close by a lot of coffee cafes, bars , and a grocery store. The house self is in well taken care of beautiful inside and out. Ron one of the owners was very helpful and communicated well and was very helpful. There is breakfast options with Eggs, Yogurt and Bannas and cereal and etc. Perfect location for a New England get away . There is TV with Roku in it so can watch Netflix and Hulu. The Davis Station for the Train is right around the corner a five minute walk at most. Would definitely stay again when visiting Boston Metro

8/10 Very good

Room was a little musty.

The house was nice. But our room had a musty smell to it. Not sure if it was from the a/c or the carpeting in the room. But other than that we found the bed nice and the location was good for getting into downtown.

6/10 Good

Ok except one pretty big thing

Room was comfy, breakfast was good, innkeeper was not as friendly as we are used to when staying at a B&B. But the problem was the very strong smell of animal urine that permeated the downstairs and the 2nd floor where our room was. It wasn't subtle - it was bad.

Great place to stay! It’s an older home that’s been nicely refinished in a neighborhood and it’s close to the Davis T stop (4 min walk), a 7-11 if you forgot anything or need drinks/snacks for your room, multiple restaurants, & shops. There’s parking available (4-5 spots) in the driveway and you can come & go as you please. My only suggestion would be to increase the water pressure in the shower, it was quite weak. Overall an excellent bnb!! A++++
