Le Cheval is a very lovely hotel in the heart of Paso Robles. Like the name in French says there are a lot of things and details inspired by "the horse". We had a great room on the upper floor, the room was big and very cute. The staff is super friendly and every time when the front staff is seen, they ask if they can help with anything. Everything is in walking distance in Paso. The only point is that the bar is for hotel guests only and when we went for a drink we were the only guests.

The hotel was more than charming. It was a fantastic experience for our group of 6. Fireplaces and small seating areas were the highlight each evening as we were served complimentary gourmet s'mores. Breakfast was a custom plated welcome each morning with specialty coffees included. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable and each had its own fireplace. The "game room"/library/candy bar was a great place for us to continue socializing once the courtyard got more quiet. Will definitely return.

We liked the ambience and the wait staff. Breakfast was good and the nightly smores were fun. The room was very nice as well .The one downside was the courtyard was loud well past 10:00 pm and the staff did not enforce the 10:00 pm quiet time.

Hotel Cheval is a wonderful hotel that is beautiful, intimate and relaxing. Each room has access to the courtyard that has two large fireplaces, cozy sitting areas, a classic library space with a candy bar. The free breakfast is fabulous. The hotel is right in town so close to the center square and all the restaurants. The Pony Bar, which is part of the hotel has a great atmosphere and music at night. The hotel is pricey but but well worth it.
