Limited gluten free options for breakfast, however, what was there was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two duvets only for king bed; used to having top sheet and one blanket /duvet. Quiet, clean, quaint, and cosy. Would visit again.

It's a motel, not an hotel. It's kinda old, but very clean and location is perfect if you're heading to the airport the next day (or to the Blue Lagoon). Owner is very friendly.

6/10 Good

We booked this since it was so close to the airport. We were there less than 9 hours so only saw our room (family room with bunk beds). Unfortunately the room smelt bad and realized the fridge was full of bad items. Because we needed to go directly to sleep and catch a flight very early we didn’t have time to have it cleaned up (just slept with window open). It was very basic room but was nice to be so close to the airport. The staff we met were nice!

Clean room. On site free parking. Good quality mattress and pillows. Bathroom was little dated. Overall stay excellent.

Quiet motel about 20 minutes from the airport. We were only there one night before our flight left. Not sure we’d stay there again, but the owner was nice (stayed up for us until 12:30 am), the room was dark and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Nice big bright clean room. Friendly staff. Excellent location (across the street from only restaurant bar in town, and a block from Petrol station.) We had a shared bath, which meant 6 double rooms sharing 2 bathrooms. The rooms were not well insulated from light around the doors and noise in the long hallway, so could easily hear guests talking and going to and from bathrooms. One shower had water so hot, it was scalding, and could not turn it down, so I had to get dressed, and go to 2nd bath/shower. No breakfast included if you reserve with 3rd party like Hotels.com and Expedia, etc. but you can purchase. There was a shared refrigerator in hall.

Our one-night stay was perfectly adequate for a layover. Its proximity to the airport, approximately 15 minutes by car, was highly convenient after an extended flight, and we also appreciated its close location to the Blue Lagoon. Room 9A was okay, and the amenities were good.

We had a great stay for a reasonable price! The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the location is great to catch an early flight.

10/10 Exceptional

The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. I loved having a TV at the end of our 10 day road trip in Iceland to help transition back to ordinary life. (Besides, we watched the FIFA soccer game between the USA and Australia). I was disappointed with the fact that there was no breakfast offered even though it says there is on the website and even shows tantalizing pictures of food. I felt that was very deceptive on their part. They need to update their website to be more honest.

Clean, Safe, and close to the airport. Staff were very accommodating… You will want a car rental - No frills location but a good location between the city and airport.
