The hotel was in an ideal location, as far as distance from both Dewey and Rehoboth Beach. However, at check in, Lindsay informed me that she didn’t charge me for parking but I thought parking was free. There were splashes of mold in the bathroom on the wall and possibly the ceiling in the room. The pool was out of service, which was something the kids were looking forward to. It was nice to have the voucher to use the sister hotel’s pool though. According to my family, the breakfast was subpar. The toddler only ate a fruit cup and she loves eggs and potatoes! There’s a weird smell in the hallway on the first floor, can’t quite describe it but it was unpleasant.

The room was okay. It was large enough, we had 5 people. However a small table would have been nice. No bedbugs but it was not dusted and we found a Bobby pin on the carpet so vacuuming is questionable. We only stayed 1 evening so we didn't use any amenities but the pool was open. What I didn't like was they were selling pool passes to non resort guests per flyer in the elevator, and it is a small pool. Breakfast was fine, standard fare, waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. However this hotel has clearly been renovated very cheaply with shoddy work. Trim falling off in the hallway. I tried to plug in my charger and the electrical box sunk into the wall because it wasn't attached correctly. Gaps where the ceiling and wall meet. The toilet paper roll holder is sideways and impossible to get toilet paper from without it falling to the floor. Wall paper seams.

Overall the cleanliness was questionable. Pool was foggy. Tub was clogged when we got there and dirty towels were left in the bathroom. Ice machine and vending machines were broken and a candy bar from the market was $3. You have to pay $15 for parking, but you literally just park in a regular parking lot and it felt like a weird up-charge. On Sunday the breakfast person was MIA (the weekday breakfast man was awesome though!!) Front desk staff was helpful and addressed concerns quickly. But you definitely get what you pay for here.
