Stayed here for a few days before a cruise and we absolutely loved it!! We have three boys (14/12/8) and they had so much fun with all the included activities. We spent hours in the beautiful pool and in the ocean. And took breaks from the water to play mini golf, sand volleyball, sand soccer, and pickleball. Our favorite food spots were the soda shop and the pool bar area (the fish tacos are great)! Also loved our room - 1.5 baths, a balcony, and a table where we could play cards were awesome perks! The kids would’ve been happy to spend a whole week here. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Fort Lauderdale.

The property rooms were slightly dated but everything was in good repair and working order and very clean and the pools and ocean access were fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly and we had a great time during our stay. It was not in the middle of all the city attractions - but that was not something we were looking for. It was perfect for just relaxing on the beach or by a pool. It is definitely suited for families but we were able to enjoy the adult pool and didn’t find the family vibe overwhelming.

We had a great stay at Lago Mar! Loved the ocean view room, the relaxed vibe, clean rooms, and very helpful staff throughout our stay. The pools and private beach access were excellent, and the property was very stroller friendly while traveling with our infant. We also appreciated being able to use DoorDash deliveries to reception and made good use of the kitchenette, microwave, and dishes provided in the room. The only slight downside is that the hotel is a bit farther from Las Olas Blvd and the more active restaurant areas, so you’ll likely need to walk/Uber for more dining options. But that also makes the hotel quieter and more relaxing overall.
