Aside from some issues checking into a staff-less hotel, we found the property to be excellent. Our suite was well-designed with a small but very functional kitchen. The bed and linens were great. And the wellness deck was a great addition. Rodanthe is a convenient town to stay for those who prefer things a bit quieter than a typical beach town. We highly recommend this property! Also, if you do book through an app, make sure you check in with the property if you don't receive their rental agreement right after booking. You'll need to complete that prior to arrival to make things go smoothly. The manager is super helpful and responsive in case of any troubles.

I never ended up receiving my room code in order to get in. They were able to get me in over the phone, and I did plan to leave the next day. It would’ve been nice to have had the code though in case I planned to stay longer. I would definitely make sure you have it before making the trip. Overall, room very clean and well kept and colorful. Bed was extremely comfortable as well. Highly recommend and will be coming back for future visits!

VRBO meets boutique hotel

This is a perfect mix of boutique hotel and vacation rental. Interior is modern and clean, with lots of space. High end finishes, and very comfortable. The wellness deck is very nice, overlooking the sound for great sunsets. Our suite was adjacent, with a small private deck. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. This was a perfect base for exploring the area, and then come back to a comfortable and clean cocoon.

The room itself was very nice. Clean, spacious, well equipped. If what you are looking for is a “posh AirB&B” this is the place for you. Unfortunately, it was not as described. The lack of any onsite staff (which I would expect in a hotel) was particularly annoying when I came home after a day out to find the digital lock for my apartment no longer worked, and I had to wait on the balcony for 25 mins - first calling the conscience then waiting for the maintenance person to arrive. The “sporting club” is just more apartments at a different location. The concierge was also not available the first day or so (apparently I should have responded to her email the day before). As I said, the accommodation really is lovely. But, be prepared that it’s not a hotel, and not a water sports club.

Very spacious, beautiful bathroom with huge walk in shower and bed was very comfy after a long day on the beach. We did not expect the kitchen! Saved us from searching for coffee and breakfast!
