High quality hotel with excellent breakfast and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well decorated. The view from our room on 27th floor was amazing. The location is good with plenty of local restaurants and a short tram ride to the city centre. Bedroom was small with no storage for clothes - only a hanging rail above the mini bar. Cleaning was irregular - some days the room was not cleaned. Shower water did not drain away some days, flooding the bathroom.

We had an amazing stay at Clarion Hotel Draken in Gothenburg! The hotel is modern, stylish, and in a fantastic location with easy access to the city’s main attractions. The rooms were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the spectacular rooftop restaurant and bar, offering breathtaking views over Gothenburg and a wonderful atmosphere—definitely a must-visit during your stay. We couldn’t have a chance to eat breakfast due to the jet lag but the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste. Every meal we had was delicious, and the dining experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gothenburg and would happily stay here again!

I often work in Gothenburg and have therefore stayed at the hotel multiple times. On the one hand, I would like to award it five stars. It has a perfect location in the most charming part of town, the hotel still feels brand new with a great restaurant and rooftop bar, and the staff is really friendly. Also, the view is of course amazing. However, on the other hand, the last two times I have stayed there, I have ended up getting sick. It annoys me that it is not possible to get fresh air in the room, especially since the aircondition system is hopeless. This time we also had a really strange experience with the cleaning staff. Two days in a row they hadn’t cleaned the room. Six in the evening, shortly after we had returned to our room, a cleaner barged into our room to then conclude that it was too late for him to clean. But then why open our room in the first place? He closed the door in my face and all of it was just really weird. We informed the reception, who gave us a voucher for breakfast the following day. I doubt that I will stay there for my next stay in Gothenburg, mainly because of the poor air circulation in the rooms.

Great hotel overall with a really good location, amazing rooftop and views! This is the second time we stay here and we really like it. However, both times we felt the cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas does not quite match the standard the hotel aims to project. Also, another thing which should be re-considered is the breakfast room capacity as you don't really want to have to "book" a time for breakfast when you are on vacation. You should be able to have breakfast anytime during the opening hours ... We will come back but hope they will take our feedback into consideration until then.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Draken, but the true highlight was the spa. Having a spa like this inside the hotel is an absolute gem and one of the biggest reasons I'd stay here again. The women working in the spa were exceptional. They made me feel welcomed, cared for, and completely pampered. The spa itself is beautiful. I loved the calming water wall, the sauna, the variety of pools, and the refreshing cold room. I also highly recommend the leg massage if you've been doing a lot of walking around Gothenburg or other Scandinavian cities. It made a huge difference after long days of exploring. The breakfast was another standout. The selection was enormous, with a ridiculous number of options. Whether you wanted something light or a full meal, there was plenty to choose from, and it kept me fueled for a full day of sightseeing. The views from the top of the hotel are also stunning and offer a beautiful perspective of Gothenburg. My only issue was that after arriving late from a long day of walking, the shower in my room wasn't working. Thankfully, the room attendant fixed it while I grabbed something to eat, so it ended up being only a minor inconvenience. Overall, Hotel Draken exceeded my expectations. Between the incredible spa, wonderful staff, fantastic breakfast, and breathtaking views, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
