It was a fine stay. The higher price is most likely due to its proximity to Sequoia. The room was clean and comfortable enough, the breakfast was typical, the pool and hot tub looked nice. Some of the areas in the back building needed a little cleaning, but nothing bad.

This hotel is just outside Sequoia Park entrance about 10 miles so great for the convenience. It is a very small town (Three Rivers) with limited amenities. Just a handful of restaurants to choose from but those we went to were very good. And 1 grocery store to choose from.

Close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The room was a bit humid so we had to keep the AC on at colder than usual temp. We had a room facing the mountain so it was perfect for privacy. There was a market store, ice scream and other restaurants near by. I’d stay at this location again!

I overpaid due to the location and the seasonality. Overall it was a OK stay for us. I am still wondering how the rooms were not ready when the checkout time is 11am and the checkin is only at 4pm? The breakfast was good.
