We were welcomed and given a tour of the historic hotel by the front desk upon arrival. The room upgrade was to a suite overlooking the bay. The room, bed, and bath were clean and comfortable. A small gift arrived each day of our stay. The 1891 Bar proved to be an excellent alternative as we preferred early and smaller dinners. The Christmas brunch had excellent food options; it was a buffet next to the pools. The staff were most helpful on check out, holding our luggage until our rental car had been secured and we were ready for the next leg of our journey.

Wonderful place to stay. The terrace is delightful at any time of day. To be honest, I didn't want to leave the hotel for any reason except to hike. The service was amazing and there are many excellent dining options. Highly recommend!!
