"Angithi at the front desk is very kind and nice. I was out of cash; the nearby cash machines were obviously out of service; and not even McDonald’s accepts foreign credit cards. Angithi gave me her last money to buy a meal. Of course I paid her back… but that’s beyond the point: I am extremely thankful for this ray of sunshine in a country where most people were not very friendly to the only tourist / white person walking around"

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always ready with a smile or assistance. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we especially appreciated the eco-conscious touches throughout the property. We would definitely recommend Eco Torarica to anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing stay in Paramaribo. Would love to return!"
