8/10 Very good

Hotel is in a decent location within walking distance of various shops and restaurants. The bedroom is a little small and the furniture is a little tired but overall the room is fine for a short stay. Bed itself was comfortable and the shower was good. I'd happily recommend the hotel for stays in the capital

10/10 Exceptional

We booked two nights at Hotel Eyja with mountain view and it was worth it. The location was very walkable to most of Reykjavik’s attractions in the city. The room was clean and the bathroom/toilet amenities were good. The only minor issue we had was the location of the toilet roll by the commode! You really had to twist your body to get to the toilet paper! In the end we just removed the roll and left it on the sink for easier access! We did not book with breakfast so couldn’t comment on that. The beddings were comfortable and the room was cozy.

8/10 Very good

The hotel Eyja was very nice. Beds a little smaller than US sizes but worked out nicely. They have bikes to use for short excursions. Great spot for Flybus pickup and drop off. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast Buffet was exemplary. Good location for groceries as there is one large store across the street.

8/10 Very good

convenient location, nice staff. Not sure why but the hotel has some kind of Southeast Asia ambience. It is not bad but being in Reykjavik and staying at Asia-resorts famed hotel was something we did not expected. Anyhow, facilities are good, staff are friendly, easy to walk to downtown, a parking lot directly next to the hotel which is great in Reykavik.

Very nice place with rooms that feel like your on vacation! Had great distance to some restaurants and shopping not too far away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Reykjavik but leisurely as it is not close to the airport but more fore those staying in Reykjavik.
