Careful of taxi drivers. Use only registered companies like Yandex and GG. Do not get into any cab at airport. Yerevan has a lot to see in a few days and seems safe for solo travellers. Worth taking a couple of day excursions to see more

Yerevan is now quite similar to an Eastern European city, but just a little different. Many of the locals have at least basic English knowledge, but they may not speak it every day, so speak slowly. It's busier at night until around 11pm.

Yerevan has the nicest people in the world. Super incredible culture, if only other places in the world had the same.

I wish there was more flexibility in terms of language. Armenians seem like such wonderful people, would love to be able to converse with them :)
