We stayed in the King Coco room which was great. Large room, large bathroom, comfortable king size bed and a balcony with seating and garden furniture with a pool and sea view. Suresh and the team at Coco Tangalla were excellent. They were extremely helpful and attentive we felt we could ask them anything. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, homemade juices, delicious coffee and a choice of main breakfast, either Sr Lankan, European/American or healthy option. Pool area was very clean with comfortable sunbeds. Would definitely consider coming back.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Coco Tangalle , we stayed in the King Coco room & it was an amazing space , large with our own private patio . Suresh looked after us during our stay & was very helpful . We would have liked to see a small refrigerator in our room & tea/coffee facilities however Suresh was very happy to place our wine in their fridge & serve it on request , he also bought us a pot of tea every morning . Gorgeous restaurant & pool with staff always ready to assist , would happily stay again

We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big). There was turndown service too which is always a nice touch. We’ll be back for sure!

First of all, I highly recommend Coco Tangalla. After two weeks of traveling around Sri Lanka, this was our favorite hotel. The buildings and grounds are beautiful. We were the only guests and they kindly upgraded us to the largest room with private porch. We loved relaxing on the porch. Next, the hospitality is next level - the staff are so welcoming, attentive and helpful - they arranged tuk tuks, cars, activities. They even invited us to join their chef for a cooking session. Lastly, the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka - fresh, healthy, delicious. This place is amazing.
