Hotel and restaurant are what you can expect for this price, high quality.
The staff really makes you feel comfortable and welcome.
I had the pleasure to meet Gede (tourguide and driver) 3 days, and he and his manager Sri were so genuinly kind to me when I had to go to the hospital for a check. Both a real treasure for the company I would say.

Loved our stay at Wapa, especially the staff and natural location! We stayed a week and will definitely return in the next few years. Our favorite hotel in Bali. Thanks to the staff - Wirta, Hardi, Sri, Ayu, Win and many others. They made us feel like we were with family in a beautiful location.

Disappointing
There is construction work going on which was extremely noisy. We changed rooms which improved things somewhat but could still hear it.
A hotel of this price range should really notify guests in advance of construction or close the hotel in low season to get it done.
Otherwise our stay was OK but we had a few gripes:
- no shower gel in the rooms and the bar of soap which was provided instead was not replaced.
- no TV in the rooms, which is not great when the Euros is on.
- sunbeds in the room were mouldy and need to be replaced.
- breakfast was poor.

One of the best hotel experiences ever. Three months young 21 room resort compromised of private villas with private pools and spacious rooms with expansive ensuite bathrooms. My room had a huge balcony overlooking a Shangrila valley, complete with a beautiful roaring river below. Staff were so warm, professional and caring. Two infinity pools, with a great gym below one with cascading water to look at while you exersize. There is a very nice spa built directly below the most heavenly open air yoga studio you could dream of. Restaurant food was delicious. There are no TVs but the WiFi is strong throughout. Thank you again to Agus, the Resort Manager, for escorting me one afternoon on his motorcycle and spending almost 2 hours showing me the mountains and countryside. Special shout out to Geri and Jenny in the restaurant, for their service and friendship. If i had not prepaid the hotel at my next destination, i would have definitively stayed at the resort longer.

A beautifully located hotel with exceptional staff
We had a wonderful stay at Wapa from start to finish. We stayed as part of our honeymoon and could not have asked for a more romantic or beautiful setting.
We had a Di Ume suite which was lovely, a great big bed and bathroom with excellent views. The room was clean and so peaceful. The grounds themselves were okay kept- some missing tiles in the pool and moss on the loungers. Lots of little bugs/insects around but that’s to be expected in such a green setting.
The restaurant attached to the hotel had excellent food with a wide range of choices, a great happy hour and stunning views. The was also several local restaurants a short walk from the hotel that were wonderful. Plenty of local choices. The hotel also provides free afternoon tea with snacks everyday which was a great touch.
We did a cooking class, te class was excellent and they were both so informative. We were the only two people doing the class, so we got a private cooking class essentially. We could not have asked for a more unique setting, outside and by the river.
There was a morning trek through the padi fields provided by the hotel for free was lovely and gave us some interesting information about local farming.
The cultural experience of making Balinese religious offerings was really special! We also booked a tour through the hotel using their driver which was excellent!!
The staff in general were exceptionally friendly, attentive and accommodating- they really made our stay.

Beautiful, cozy, clean room and wonderful location. The front desk staff was professional and kind and the guest relations lady, Sonia (?), was delightful.
The only disappointment was that despite receiving an upgrade that came with a small private garden, the room did not have any view, which is a shame in such a beautiful location.
